"MFS Wellness has really changed my relationship with food and by body. Before signing up I was 5 months postpartum trying to lose some weight, eating 1100 calories per day and working out 6 days per week = CRAZY, hungry, and exhausted. After speaking with him I understood there was a science to healthy weight loss and just because I wanted to lose weight didn't mean I needed to sacrifice good food. After 12 weeks I am down to my pre-baby weight (total lose of 16 lbs.) and have been eating indulgent, delicious, enjoyable food! Goat cheese, waffles, chocolate, bread, English muffins, turkey bacon etc.! And have been working out only 3 days per week. I realize now all the other ways I have tried to be fit (paleo, vegan, weight watchers, calorie restricting etc) have one fatal flaw.... they lack the one on one tailored science based plan MFS Wellness provides. I came to Michael after being on a medical weight loss program for a year and steadily losing almost 40lbs. But I had been stuck at the same number for almost 2 months. A few months ago I was struggling with serious stomach pain and I knew it was because of the foods I was eating. Mike is awesome! He is always very responsive and helpful whenever I need my questions answered or to change something about my meal plan. I've been working with Mike for about a month now, and it was one of the best decisions I've made in a long time. I had been under-eating for many years and not getting proper nutrition, and was also not active at all.  When the lockdowns happened, I experienced quick weight gain, and was at the heaviest I've ever been. I felt terrible, hated looking in the mirror, didn't have the energy to drag myself to the gym, etc.. I felt like I was just slowly rotting away. I decided to take a leap of faith, and trust Mike with assisting me in getting on the right path to change my life and my relationship with food. I am eating more now than I ever have in my life, and I'm LOSING weight! Not only that, but the meals that Mike sends me every week are delicious, flavorful, filling, and easy to make. I have so much energy now and have started going back to the gym 5 days a week. This energy also helps me to perform better. I am down 5 pounds so far in one month. Mike is so patient with my novels that I send to him when I have questions or to just give him updates, he motivates me, doesn't judge, reminds me that it's okay if some weeks aren't perfect, and has taught me so much about food in this last month. Working with Mike has been such a pleasure.

I am a busy mom with a full time job and two young kids so it’s always difficult for me to find time for myself and things like meal prep is sometimes difficult. I eat better than most people, so I thought. For the most part I was, except my macros were completely backwards. Lots of rice and beans and too little protein. Mike figured that out right away. I’m eating most of the same things but the amounts are flipped, this is a lot of food, sometimes too much and I leave some out, lots of variety and completely sustainable. I met Mike way back in college when he had a body by Anheuser Busch, now he needs a subscription to Amazon for Band aids he’s so cut up.

This is way over do! A special shout out to Mike. I've been working with Mike since Jan. 6th, he has been providing me with some awesome nutrient dense meal plans. Not only that but Mike is always there for any questions I may have about food or my macro numbers. Every week I weigh in and send him what the number on the scale says. We work together closely every week to make sure I achieve my goals. There has been a few weeks where the number on the scale does not change or it changes very little. But I know that my body is changing based on the way my clothes fit and the amount of muscle being made. It's important to keep on making progress and not let the scale discourage you! Not only is Mike super positive in making sure you don't get discouraged but he's attentive to my goals and always checking in to see how I'm feeling with the meals and numbers he has provided me.

Since Jan. 6th I am down a total 13 lbs. and down 4% body fat.

I've been working with Mike since Jan 6th of this year and will continue to as we shoot for the goal I gave him.  The progress has been great since starting with him.  Mike has shown me a whole new way of eating foods that I normally would eat just with a proper way of using them and how much to really put in your body. He turns a taco meal (who doesn't love taco's) into a smart healthy way of eating and it's delicious. He has provided help at all times and is quick to answer any questions that come up. I've sent him numerous messages while walking the aisles of a grocery store asking about items. Who knew fage yogurt could be a big substitution for certain things in your meals...i certainly didn't!

Mike also got me the proper plan to getting back in the gym. He will work with you on what you can and want to do because although eating right is a big part of the process, getting the exercise you need shouldn't be overlooked.
